FITE stands for Family Improvement Through Education. In 2008, Carol Loweree and her husband, Mark, approached Happy House with the concept that better families can be built by promoting education. The board of Happy House loved the idea and has incorporated Carol & Mark's ideas as division of Happy House.
FITE is a Happy House program designed to 1) Eliminate illiteracy and promote educational achievement by equipping parents with study tools with which to assist their children in their academic studies. 2) To eliminate drug abuse by educating parents and children on the harmful effects of drugs. 3) Arrest the decline of morals and ethics in our society by helping them understand and implement simple rules on how to live a successful and ethical life.
Focal Points:
Empower parents so that they can empower their children.
Put parents back in control of their child’s education and well-being.
Help build bright, responsible, self-determined children who know right from wrong.
Teach children study tools so that they can learn anything, by themselves.
