Rose Goss

Best known as the spiky-headed underachiever Bart Simpson on The Simpsons, Emmy™ winner Nancy Cartwright also provides the unique voices of Ralph, Nelson, Todd and or Rodd Flanders on the show. Considered one of the top voice-actors in the world, her golden touch is one of the vital ingredients that helped make The Simpsons the longest-running sitcom in television history.

Her considerable talents are also evident in other award-winning shows including the voice of Chuckie in Nickelodeon’s Rugrats and Rufus the Naked Mole Rat in Disney’s Kim Possible. Nancy is a businesswoman who owns two companies, including Cartwright Entertainment, which guides her career, and produces audio books, stage works and animation projects.

When not in the spotlight, Nancy enjoys being active as a volunteer in the community, supporting many non-profit organizations which focus on helping children, such as Famous Fone Friends, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Way to Happiness Foundation and her new non-profit venture she co-founded called Happy House, whose mission is to Build Better Families, one family at a time. A single working mother of two active teens, Nancy balances motherhood just like a professional, and was recently named Honorary Mayor of Northridge, Calif.

Rose Goss is a professional writer, and an award-winning documentary producer. With her writing roots formed in the publishing industry, she was a magazine editor, spent many years in entertainment journalism, then moved over into writing her own creative projects. The founder of The Hollywood Writer’s Society, over the years Rose inspired many other writers along the way.

As an artist, Rose co-wrote and directed Nancy Cartwright in her world-traveling one-woman-show entitled, “My Life As a 10-Year Old Boy,” which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Rose is the C.E.O. of Irish Rose Productions, and was recently nominated into Strathmore’s Who’s Who, for demonstrating leadership in her profession.

The mother of two young adults, Rose has been married for 31 years, and has discovered what the most successful elements are to building a better family. The last of 12 children, Rose has a lifetime of experience, and shares some of these with wit and humor with the families attending the Happy House workshops. In addition to being co-founder and co-chairman of Happy House, Rose acts as a professional advisor, and is active in community projects, including The Way To Happiness Foundation.
