Happy House Poker Event

On Saturday, December 15th, Nancy and her non-profit organization hosted a charity poker tournament to benefit the distribution of 1 million The Way to Happiness booklets to the San Fernando Valley. The poker action started fast and furious with several quick re-buys. Eventually, the action slowed a bit and players began to dwindle. When everything was said and done, John Futris was left standing atop the pile of players. He won a seat at the 3rd Annual Monte Carlo Event that will also be hosted at Nancy’s house in the fall of 2008.

Rounding out the top five, from second place to fifth were Robbin Rabbani, Dave Evans, Kenton Gray and Peter Kjenaas. A very special congratulations to them for their good play and a “well done” to all of our players and guests. The event was a huge success and enough money was raised to send out nearly 100,000 booklets. Thank you to everyone who attended and all of our wonderful volunteers.
